A 2014 visit to a cacao farm in northern Peru, and the pride of the farmers they met there, changed the course of their lives. In 2016 they began making chocolate in Montréal, working directly with Peruvian growers to turn rare native cacao into small-batch, bean-to-bar chocolate. Their very first bars won gold at London's Academy of Chocolate Awards.
