SOLÖGA, 1977 ("Sun Eye")
Bring vintage warmth and expressive character to your space with this original 1977 oil painting on canvas by Eric Julius. Titled "Solöga"—the Swedish word for "sun eye"—the artwork depicts a lush, leafy potted plant brimming with cheerful orange blossoms against a moody, dark olive background.
Julius’s textured, gestural brushstrokes and strong color contrasts evoke classic Nordic mid-century expressionism. The canvas is signed and dated by the artist on both the front lower-right corner and the reverse. Presented in its original champagne-toned silver wood frame, this one-of-a-kind original piece makes a rich, soulful accent for any art collection or autumn showcase.
