Maui Rooster 17x21.5
This rooster is on a mission. Chantry caught him mid-strut against a sky of sea-glass blue and buttery yellow, every feather laid down in thick, confident strokes. Bold and a little cheeky, it's the piece guests will ask about first, whether it hangs in a kitchen, breakfast nook or entryway.
- Medium: Original oil painting, one of one
- Size: 17 x 21.5 in.
- Frame: Natural wood floater frame
- Signed: Hand-signed "Chantry," lower right
About the artist
Chantry Brewer is a Midway artist who hosts many of our Paint Nights at The Olive Press Cafe. Raised by artist parents in Arizona's White Mountains and trained in fine art at Utah State University, he paints the Heber Valley's landscapes, wildlife, fruit and florals with loose, energetic brushwork meant to be felt as much as seen.
