Rozsavolgyi Lavender Drinking Chocolate (Holiday), 120g

Something a little unexpected for the holidays. Rózsavölgyi infuses its bean-to-bar dark chocolate with lavender, so you get a cup that’s floral and calming, with the chocolate still in the lead. It’s a lovely evening ritual and a memorable gift for the person who has tried everything. It’s made in Budapest, and each 120g pack makes about four servings.

To prepare: Heat milk or water, stir in the chocolate, and bring to a gentle simmer, whisking until smooth.

Good to know: Plastic-free recycled paper packaging, ready to gift. Made in a facility that also processes milk and nuts.

About Rózsavölgyi: Rózsavölgyi Csokoládé began in 2004 as a husband-and-wife project in Budapest. Katalin Csiszár, a graphic designer, and Zsolt Szabad, a mechanical engineer, started out in a small chocolate workshop built onto their home. They still make everything from the bean, roasting gently so each cacao keeps its natural character. Katalin designs the packaging herself, which is why every Rózsavölgyi box looks like a little work of art.
